When Should You Visit Lotiz Lounge? 4 Different Evening Plans
Choose between sunset, dinner, a group catch-up and a later music-led table through four distinct Lotiz Lounge scenarios.

Lotiz Lounge is difficult to reduce to one label. A rooftop restaurant, a city-view dinner and a music-led night out all overlap at the same address. The right reservation time therefore looks different for every group. One table may want the Marmara sunset, another sushi and steak to share, while a third wants dinner to drift naturally into music. These four plans make the purpose clear before anyone sits down.
How does the night change at Lotiz?
Lotiz is open daily from 13:00 to 02:00. The afternoon feels like an airy rooftop meal, sunset draws attention to the view, and music takes a larger role as the evening develops. A DJ performance is planned every night, so a late table should not assume that dinner will remain quiet.
The location sits along the Laleli and Beyazit route, within easy reach of the Grand Bazaar. It is practical for ending an Old City day on a rooftop before returning to the hotel. If conversation matters most, however, choose a time before the music becomes the centre of the room.
4 evenings, 4 different tables
The best time is not the one that looks busiest on Instagram, but the one that suits what your group wants that evening.
1 — Sunset table: Arrive about 45 minutes before sunset, giving the first drink to the view and dinner to the softer light that follows.
2 — Food-led table: Choose early evening and build a simple sequence around one sushi share, a hot starter and mains.
3 — Friends' table: Mix sushi, steak, seafood and Turkish choices for different tastes without ordering from every category.
4 — Continue into the night: At a later hour, make the DJ and drinks central and ask about the kitchen's last food order when booking.
Add a table preference if the direction of the view matters.
For larger groups, two waves of food keep the table comfortable.
Allow for Laleli traffic and parking at the weekend.
Plan the late return before sitting down.
Sushi or steak? It can be both
Lotiz has the kind of menu that can bring very different appetites together: sushi, steak, seafood, kebab, pizza and burgers all sit side by side. Four people can easily choose four cuisines; the real task is preventing the order from becoming four unrelated dinners.
We would begin with sushi to share, add a vegetable or hot starter, then place two different mains at the centre. Deciding on dessert or a second drink only after the first round arrives keeps the table open and stops the bill from growing through a trail of small additions.

Can you visit Lotiz Lounge after the Grand Bazaar?
Yes. Its Balabanağa location is easy to reach from Laleli, Beyazit and the Grand Bazaar route. If dinner follows a day of shopping and sightseeing, avoid a tight reservation time; leaving the bazaar, walking and hotel-area traffic can take longer than expected.
